Welcome to the website of the Saunière Society. The Saunière Society is a loose organization of diverse individuals formed to pursue the ideas and objects first popularized by Henry Lincoln, and has as its primary object, an endeavour to seek out the truth, Truth or "truth." Henry Lincoln was undisputedly the very first person to bring to the attention of the British public the mystery of "Rennes-le-Château." It is probably true to say that very few, if any of us, would have known anything at all about it without his efforts. More, it is unlikely that most French, Belgian, German, Swiss, Italians and others stretching from the U.S.A. to Russia would have known about it either. It was not a big thing in France when Henry Lincoln initiated the first Chronicle programme on the subject. Nor were the French quick to publish much that was well researched and interesting. This was left to Henry Lincoln and his co-authors almost eight years later. We suppose that it is not unreasonable to conclude that, if anyone knows anything worth knowing about Rennes-le-Château, it might just possibly be Henry Lincoln? Whatever others decide, Henry Lincoln enjoys the total and unreserved support of the Saunière Society. But we are certainly not an association of "yes persons." We affirm that only the highest degree of academic integrity is acceptable. We will follow the Truth no matter where it will lead us.
