The Sauniere Society publishes a journal which can be obtained through subscription or direct purchase at one of our several symposia which are held throughout the year. There is no set regular publication dates as yet and no set number of annual issues which may vary in size and periodicity. Membership is by annual subscription currently £ 15.00 pa for residents of the British Isles (proceed to Membership page for more details).
The journal, among other things, features articles contributed by members and friends of the Society which relate to the truth in the matter of Henry Lincoln's research into the mystery of Rennes-le-Chateau and related research. Also featured in the journals are reviews of recent books associated with the mysteries of Rennes-le-Chateau or other related subjects. The journals also highlight recent symposia and the various presentations of the featured speakers.
Members correspondence, whether friendly or hostile, are always warmly welcomed and published as far as humanly possible in the next edition. We reserve the right to reply in the same issue to hostile or erroneous statements where it seems fair, equitable and reasonable to do so. All contributions to the journal are purely personal, including those of the Editor and are not intended to reflect the views of the Sauniere Society.
The most recent Sauniere Society Journal was published on 17 January 2000 and features a number of interesting articles. With over forty pages, this particular journal could be characterized as a special "Millennium" issue. It features a special review of our first Newbattle Abbey Symposium, including highlights of the speakers' presentations and plenty of large color photos of many of the participants, speakers and members. For those who have never visited Rennes-le-Chateau, there is a several page article that takes you on a tour of this mysterious little village, complete with large colorful pictures of the environs and an update on local happenings. A real treat is Part 3 of Nigel Graddon's "Whitechapel to Heidelberg, Calling At All Stations" article. Also of much interest is an intriguing article titled "The Curious Affair of the Sauniere Bookplate. The "Books" page of this web site is still under construction, but when completed, should provide information on the purchase of this wonderful journal plus other past issues of journals currently in stock.
At present, we have yet to establish a policy on how we will ultimately proceed on presenting journal material on this page. Meanwhile, to whet your appetite, we have included two articles on this page for your reading pleasure. To access, click on the following menu items and enjoy.
